The theme for this summer is: The Magic of Camp!
WHAT??? A therapeutic day camp program for all interested BYS clients aged 5-14. The program consists of 7-weeks of planned activities focused on different themes. The program is designed for learning, growing and having FUN!
WHEN??? The program runs Monday through Thursday, 9:30am-2:30pm, June 11th – July 26th. Times for field trips will vary depending on the location of the field trip. Field trips are subject to change and you will be notified of those changes immediately. There will be no camp on July 4th in observance of Independence Day.
WHERE??? At this time, we continue to search for the new home of our beloved camp! As soon as we finalize a location we will send out a mailing.
COST??? The cost for the 7-week program is $400 for one child and $300 for each additional child. Payment plans are available; please contact Joy or Missy at 708.687.9200. A $50.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required with the registration form to ensure your child’s spot. Field trips are separate and are $10.00 per child, per trip. In order to maintain consistency, the field trip fee is a flat rate, which is the average price after factoring in all field trip admission prices, bus rental fees, and cost for in-house entertainment and lunch. You have the option of paying via Credit Card, Cash or Checks. Checks should be made payable to Bremen Youth Services.
WANT TO REGISTER??? Please come to Bremen Youth Services (15350 Oak Park Ave) to register your child(ren), receive your parent packet, and put down a deposit. You will not be allowed to register unless all of the aforementioned items are completed at the agency. The parent packet contains vital information regarding camp and it is very important that you review it closely.
CAMP ORIENTATION??? Thursday, June 7th from 4-6pm.
All campers must bring their own lunch, drink and water bottle – marked with names – each day. Coolers will be provided by the agency. Counseling groups, called “Character Crew”, are incorporated into our Summer Program schedule; water activities will be planned for extremely hot days; rainy days could result in cancellation of camp – a decision of cancellation will be made by 9:00am when there is inclement weather or inclement weather being forecasted.
Bremen Youth Services has grown so much and we know that one of the main reasons for this is word of mouth. This year, we WILL NOT have a waiting list and encourage you to spread the word about our summer program! We sincerely appreciate when our current clients tell people they know about our services. Please be advised that any new camper will need to have an intake done BEFORE they are allowed to register for camp. Due to the fact that “Character Crew” and professional services are incorporated into our Summer Program, it is policy that an intake is on file for everyone. Thank you for understanding.
